Bow, Henniker, Warner, Webster, Hopkinton, Boscawen, Dunbarton, Canterbury, Loudon, Chichester, Epsom, Bradford, Sutton, Newbury, New London, and Wilmot. Deeds record in Concord, and most matters are heard in the 6th Circuit or Merrimack Superior Court.

We take matters anywhere in New Hampshire. Estate planning, business formation, contract work, and IP matters rarely require proximity at all — much of it is handled by phone, video, and e-signature. Litigation and closings involve travel, and we're candid up front about whether a distant matter makes sense for you or whether you'd be better served locally.
How Distance Works
Some honest guidance, since "we serve all of New Hampshire" appears on every law firm website in the state and means very little.
Location rarely matters for estate planning, business formation, contracts, IP, and most advisory work. We handle these for clients from Keene to Portsmouth, largely remotely, with one in-person signing at the end.
Location matters somewhat for real estate. Recording happens at the county registry regardless of where we sit, but closings are easier when we're not driving two hours.
Location matters most for litigation. Court appearances, hearings, and trials mean showing up. We take cases across the state, but if you're in Coos County facing a matter that will require twenty appearances, we'll say so and help you find someone closer.
Courts & Jurisdictions
A frequent source of confusion, since New Hampshire splits jurisdiction three ways.
Merrimack Superior Court (5 Court Street, Concord) hears general jurisdiction civil and criminal matters for the entire county — felony cases, larger civil disputes, and real property actions.
The 6th Circuit Court has three district divisions across Merrimack County. Concord (32 Clinton Street) serves Concord, Hopkinton, Bow, Henniker, Warner, and most of the county. Franklin (7 Hancock Terrace) serves Franklin, Northfield, Boscawen, Salisbury, Webster, Andover, Danbury, and Hill. Hooksett (101 Merrimack Street) serves Hooksett, Allenstown, and Pembroke.
The 6th Circuit Probate Division (2 Charles Doe Drive, Concord) handles estates, trusts, and guardianships for the whole county, regardless of which district division covers your town.
The Merrimack County Registry of Deeds (163 North Main Street, Concord) records every deed, mortgage, and easement affecting property in the county.
